Baker, who was born the 22nd of April, 1990, in Houston Texas U.S. to a family with English Scottish and German ancestry, is renowned for his distinct style of singing. Both of his parents are missionaries. In his early years, he traveled extensively with them. His dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and joblessness while the mother Sonia Alane left them when at the age of nine. Baker relocated to Denver along with his father, and stayed there for a time. Baker was subject to bullying since he lived in poverty by the other kids. As a sixth-grader, he began to listen to hip-hop. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. His compositions are known to fuse contemporary hip-hop and rock music with alternative music. Baker has released four mixtapes over the period between 2007 and 2010, prior to joining Bad Boy Records. By the end of 2011, the Cleveland artist became an international star when he changed from self-releasing his mixtapes, and then signing with reputable label labels. The fame of this Cleveland rapper soared after he released his first mixtape in late the year.
