Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. is an American actor who has a reputation for playing tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney comes from a theatrical family, as her father is the playwright Romulus Linney. Linney graduated from Brown University in 1986 and afterward attended the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) at New York City in 1990. In 1990, she began her Broadway career. She was praised for both Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
